Krakow's main downtown market

A straight flight to Paris, then another flight to Prague, ahead to Kosice all by Air France and Czech Airlines. I was very happy arriving the first time in East Europe. I live in Brazil, my two friends too. We took a train from Slovakia to Krakow in Poland…Men, what a beautiful trip by train. We arrived in the early morning to Krakow, went to our hostel. We took a city map…my dear, an old lady were waiting us at hostel’s door! We booked it through Internet.

After check in, fast to town. We arrived at this beautiful square. Look the market, look around. We walked to there! Of course rent a car, go by tram, by bus…all was available..

It’s hard to decide, there is so much to see. Ancient architecture, Krakow has lots of attractions. One of the main is the Vawel Castle. But till you arrive there, you get lost at snack bars, restaurants, museum, coffee shops, souvenir shops.

Carriages want you for a ride...

Look at this place, at the flowers, table suits, its location…I was astonished…We sat down and had breakfast. Coffee was tasty, in spite of our coffee in Brazil being really good. Local service is perfect, clean. Attendants are polite and speak perfect English and German. We paid in local money for some services, because when you travel to Poland you have to exchange money. But prices are cheap, you can buy and pay everything by
credit cards. Restaurants, cinemas, souvenir shops, car rentals accept credit cards. But you need money to pay for smaller things. What is funny is that nightclubs and discotheques play music from 60’s, 70’s because communism blocked people to enjoy modern life. But bars, my dear, any small bar has 80 different sorts of beer. Can you believe that?
